We did it! Just after 2:00 pm, we lifted off followed by a safety chase. The airplane performed exactly as advertised, with no real squawks that will prevent a repeat performance tomorrow. Maybe two performances, if we get lucky. Tomorrow's flights will be dependent upon weather, airplane status, credit card balance, and overall sobriety of the ground crew. Now the airplane is back in the barn and we're off to the bar - - - - - I mean restaurant. We'll have an appropriate celebration because today is not only our first flight, but also the 232nd birthday of the United States Marine Corps. We will do our duty to celebrate both. An appropriate day for a flight. Sincerely, Art Nalls, Jr. artnalls@earthlink.net 202-582-6300
